2026 FUNdrasier(s)-Run for Repairs 

 

After about 15 years, Housing Partnerships is reviving one of our favorite fundraisers — and it's going to be better than ever.  Run for Repairs. We've partnered with the Colonial Road Runners to make it the 8K an official Grand Prix Event.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Freedom Park. 
8K, 5K, and One Mile Fun Run

Details below:

Every step you take fixes a neighbor's home in need. Lace up, and show up for the people next door. Run for Repairs is a charity run/walk featuring an 8K, 5K, and a one-mile fun run where your miles mean real impact — patching roofs, fixing floors, and keeping families safe, warm, and dry in their homes.

Finisher medals for all participants and awards for top finishers. T-shirts for all pre-registered runners/walkers.  Day of registration t-shirts are not promised.  One-mile fun run does not receive a t-shirt. 

 This event is rain or shine.

For 8K, awards are to the top 3 men and women overall, top 3 men and women race walkers, and top 3 in five-year age groups from 14-and-under to 75-and-over.

For the 5K, race awards to the top 5 overall men and women.

Race starts and finishes at the start of the asphalt recreation trail from the school, which enters Freedom Park in a half mile, and directly connects to the main park trail.
