2025 Year in Review
This year marked another meaningful chapter in Housing Partnerships, Inc.’s long-standing commitment to serving the Historic Triangle. Since 1985, our mission has remained clear: to help low-income homeowners live safely, independently, and with dignity in their homes. Over the past year, that mission guided every repair completed, partnership strengthened, and life impacted.

This year also saw continued momentum in newer initiatives designed to meet evolving community needs:
Aging in Place Program – Expanded efforts to support older adults who wish to remain in their homes rather than transition into skilled nursing facilities due to financial or physical limitations.
Rapid Wheelchair Response Program – Provided temporary wheelchair ramps at no cost, ensuring immediate accessibility for residents experiencing sudden mobility challenges.

Emergency Repair Expansion – Increased focus on securing additional funding to serve more households facing urgent repair needs across the Historic Triangle.

Community Partnerships
None of this work happens in isolation. Housing Partnerships, Inc. strengthened collaborations with local and regional partners, including:
James City County Housing & Community Development
York County Housing & Community Revitalization
Local Departments of Social Services
Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD)
USDA Rural Development
Virginia Housing (VHDA)
Impact 100 of the Greater Peninsula
United Way of the Greater Peninsula
Williamsburg Community Foundation
We are also deeply grateful for the civic organizations, faith-based groups, contractors, and volunteers who donate time, expertise, and resources to help extend our reach.

Fundraising & Community Engagement
In June, Housing Partnerships, Inc. hosted the 3rd Annual Food Truck Festival, our newest fundraising event. Held at the Williamsburg Community Building and sponsored by Virginia Housing, the event brought together community members for an afternoon of food, music, and support for safe housing. Building on the success of its inaugural year, the festival continues to grow as both a fundraiser and a community-building event, with plans already underway for next year. In September, we hosted our signature fundraising event the 18th Annual PIPE Concert featuring Parrots of The Caribbean. This event was held at the Williamsburg Community Building and sponsored by George Nice and Sons as well as Virginia Housing. Additionally, we have over 15 other sponsors. You can find a list of our sponsors by clicking this link: https://www.housingpartnerships.org/general-4
Mark your calendars for our 2026 fundraisers! 4th Annual Food Truck Festival will be happening in June 2026 and our 19th Annual PIPE Concert featuring The Parrots of The Caribbean will be happening in September 2026. Looking Ahead
As we move forward, Housing Partnerships, Inc. remains focused on expanding funding, deepening partnerships, and exploring opportunities to extend services to neighboring communities as capacity allows. The need for safe, affordable housing repairs continues to grow—and so does our commitment to meeting that need with compassion, accountability, and impact.

With Gratitude
This year’s successes were made possible by the generosity of our funders, donors, partners, volunteers, and supporters. Most importantly, we are grateful to the homeowners who trust us during some of their most challenging moments. Together, we are preserving homes, strengthening neighborhoods, and ensuring that our most vulnerable neighbors are not left behind.
